An inaugural conference amid political debate as the presidential elections approach
To start this Transport Innovation Week, the Director of the SITL, Laurence Gaborieau, officially launched the 39th edition on Tuesday April 5 alongside Anne-Marie Idrac, President of France Logistique and many institutional players.
Laurence Gaborieau said: “ More than 500 exhibitors were present to take part in this new vintage. The supply chain is the armed wing of reindustrialisation. A few days before the presidential elections, the representatives of the candidates were invited to share their proposals for the transport of goods and logistics in the service of a high-performance France.

Showroom 360, another place of innovation
In order to meet the expectations of SITL visitors, the organization has multiplied the demonstration areas. An immersive experience in the 360 Showroom, built in partnership with TIMCOD Solutions and MLG Consulting, was offered to participants who could discover the intralogistics of tomorrow through the Warehouse of the Future, the Drone Valley and the Circuit Test. Rail Freight
On the occasion of the conference on “the evolving contexts of rail freight: the national strategy, the geopolitical situation, decarbonization” on Wednesday 6 April. Denis Choumert, President of the AUTF specified ” Rail freight is most relevant over distances over 500 km. Solutions for electric or hydrogen heavy goods vehicles are beginning to be put in place, we have 15 years to develop freight “.
Launch of the call for expression of interest (AMI) “river urban logistics of the Seine axis”
Several communities and intermunicipalities (the metropolises of Greater Paris and Rouen-Normandy, the urban community of Le Havre-Seine Métropole, the City of Paris) working in partnership with Haropa Port and Voies navigables de France (VNF) launched this AMI this Thursday, April 7 on the SITL.
