Located near Toulouse, the Portes du Tarn is the only business park in France to practice the circular economy. This is the reason why, in addition to its attractive geographical location, H2V has selected this area to develop a project for the production of renewable hydrogen.
This future plant would contribute to decarbonizing certain activities that emit a lot of greenhouse gases, such as the road transport of goods and passengers or the collection of waste.
“The airport areas of Carcassonne, Toulouse Blagnac, Perpignan and Castres could also benefit from this local hydrogen production. This could indeed be used to create synthetic fuels that would power aircraft“, specified the company H2V.
“Welcoming the H2V company to Les Portes du Tarn would be totally consistent and complementary with the long-term strategy of the State, the Region and our territory for this sector of the future.“, declared Christophe Ramond, President of the local public company for the development of Portes du Tarn.
