Alpine unveils a new limited edition A110 Tour de Corse 75, paying tribute to its participation in the famous rally in the 1970s.
In the absence of real novelty since its slight restyling unveiled at the end of last year and pending the arrival of its first electric model in 2024, Alpine must still continue to make people talk about it. The Dieppe firm therefore has a series of special series, the latest paying a fine tribute to the 100th anniversary of the birth of its founder, Jean Rédélé, who died in 2007. This one, limited to only 100 copies, was then unveiled at the occasion of a great celebration, bringing together no less than 1,000 vehicles from the manufacturer, not far from the historic factory.
A few weeks later, the firm once again paid homage to its past, lifting the veil on a new limited edition, baptized A110 Tour de Corse 75. A special series which then drew its inspiration directly from the mythical A110 entered in the famous race. , in 1975. An edition full of twists, which was won by Lancia Stratos HF, with which the Berlinette had fought an epic battle, ultimately losing narrowly, when only 32 seconds separated them. This new version then pays homage to this car, number 7, which caused a sensation during this event.
A unique livery
On the program therefore for this special edition Alpine A110 Tour de Corse 75, a specific livery, recognizable at first glance. The Berlinette is then dressed in a yellow bodywork, supplemented by black and white elements on the sides, the hood and the rear part. White 18-inch Grand Prix rims combined with orange Brembo brake callipers complete the equipment. Finally, the “Tour de Corse 75” signature is affixed to the front fenders, while the number 7 is very subtly visible on the rear sticker. On board, we find the Sabelt bucket seats, whose backrest is embroidered with the name of this limited series, while a harness can also be added.
This version uses the mechanics of the Alpine A110 S, carrying a 1.8-litre four-cylinder developing no less than 300 horsepower. Note that this inaugurates the all-new multimedia system now compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The new Alpine A110 Tour de Corse 75 will be available for order from June 17 at 9 a.m. sharp, via the Alpine app.
Only 150 copies will be produced, for a unit price displayed at €80,000.
