The Conti EcoRegional Generation 3+ range of tires is ideal for mixed regional and long-haul transport. It was developed for journeys involving multiple deliveries over the course of a day, driving on winding roads and heavy traffic. The tires are distinguished by their low rolling resistance and low fuel consumption, low CO emissions2 contributing to sustainable mobility and a forward-looking logistics approach.

Low rolling resistance, optimal traction, longevity
The new Conti EcoRegional HS3+ retains the innovative tread design of its proven predecessor. The next-generation tire features “pocket” sipes to minimize uneven wear and improve water evacuation for optimized wet performance. Full-depth sipes extend 50% of the rib width. Specially designed groove geometries ensure even power transfer as well as long tire life. Much of the reduction in rolling resistance results from a modified and innovative tread compound.
Just like the Conti EcoRegional HS3+, the new Conti EcoRegional HD3+ incorporates the innovative profile design of its predecessor. The proven design with reduced space between the blocks combined with a high number of gripping edges of the tread provides low deformation, low rolling resistance and high mileage. Special 3D sipes enhance tread stability and durability. A substantial reduction in rolling resistance has been achieved by implementing an improved production process for this dedicated drive axle tyre. A modified carcass structure improves rolling resistance without compromising mileage.
Improved production process: Conti Diamond Technology
” The tires of the Conti EcoRegional Generation 3+ range are the result of a further improved production process which reconciles the requirements of low rolling resistance and those of mileage performance.explains Kaiser. Under the name of Conti Diamond Technology, this process consists of vulcanizing the tires for longer at a relatively low temperature. It has the advantage of allowing the polymers and carbon particles to interact with each other over a longer time and bond them more effectively, thus reducing internal friction within the compound in use, and significantly improving strength. rolling”.

Conti EcoRegional HS3+ and Conti EcoRegional HD3+ tires carry the 3PMSF marking on their sidewalls, indicating their suitability for driving in winter conditions. These tires are thus designed for use all year round and in all weathers. Some sizes can be ordered in the “Intelligent Tire” version, factory fitted with a pressure and temperature sensor.
