- Launch of a collection for the Rennes company Enerpro Biogaz on the crowdfunding platform WiSEED.
- €400,000 are sought as part of this 1time fundraising, collection is open until April 30, 2022.
WiSEED, a leading digital investment platform, is launching a collection for Enerpro Biogaz, a company based in Rennes, specializing in the design and construction of micro-methanization units. Enerpro Biogas solutions are developed for and with farmers, in order to strengthen the autonomy of their farms. The €400,000 sought is intended to finance the company’s growth, strengthen human resources, develop commercial performance and continue to invest intensively in the R&D program.
Decentralized methanization: the environmental and energy benefits of an innovative model
Anaerobic digestion is a natural process based on the degradation of organic matter, by micro-organisms, under controlled conditions and in the absence of oxygen. It makes it possible to recover organic waste into heat, electricity and soon into fuel, for self-consumption or resale. In a 2019 report, ADEME estimates that 15,000 farms are likely to invest in an individual methanisation unit, in order to recycle their organic waste. Within 5 years, Enerpro Biogaz aims to become the leader in a market with strong growth potential: decentralized methanation. This model promotes the organization of a circular economy bringing the place of recovery of waste closer to its place of production, thus limiting the ecological and financial costs of the process. It meets the needs of medium-sized agricultural and agri-food operations, which wish to treat or recover their organic waste through methanation.
Enerpro Biogaz: an innovative start-up that decentralizes energy production
Decentralizing anaerobic digestion involves designing systems and components of reduced size. Over the past few years, Enerpro Biogas has developed a range of prefabricated, modular and standardized digesters, which adapt to both the nature and the volume of the waste. These technological developments allow it to respond to a market with strong growth potential. In full expansion, the company has built up an order book of €1 million in 2021 and expects a turnover of €850k in 2022. Labeled GreenTech innovation, member of the Solar Impulse World Alliance and of French Tech, Enerpro Biogaz fully contributes to the decarbonization of the agricultural and agri-food sector and has many partners: POOOL, B2E, BPI France, Bretagne Capital Solidaire, Crédit Agricole, etc.
Jean-Marc Clerc, CEO of WiSEED Transitions : “ Our crowdfunding platform has historically been committed to serving start-ups and SMEs that innovate in the field of energy transition and green growth. Enerpro Biogaz is a pioneering company that is tackling a little-explored market, decentralized methanation, but which has immense potential. Enerpro Biogas’ technology has proven itself and the company has also demonstrated the relevance of its business model, with an already well-filled order book for the current year. We are therefore confident in Enerpro Biogaz’s ability to achieve its objectives and proud to support a company with a positive impact on the planet. “.
Alexandre Bougeant, CEO of Enerpro Biogas : “Our ambition is to build 1,000 autonomous micro-methanizers by 2030 and to enable our customers in the agricultural and agri-food sectors to solve their water treatment problems while producing energy. in the form of biogas, directly on site. Enerpro Biogas wants to demonstrate that it can contribute to the protection of the environment but also to economic and social development”.
