After unveiling the eBussy, Electric Brands is launching the first rolling copy of the XBus. The order book is now open.
Inspired by the Volkswagen Combi, the German company has unveiled the first renderings of the eBussy, a small modular electric utility vehicle. Electric Brands is now making its plans a reality and unveiling the first functional model of the XBus.
Higher (1.94 m) than wide (1.6 m), this small 3.64 m long vehicle falls into the L7e category of heavy quadricycles. The XBus therefore meets its obligations in terms of weight and power, with a mass of 600 kg (excluding the weight of the batteries) and a maximum of 20 hp. On the other hand, without legal constraints, it aims for a torque of 1,000 Nm!
Up to 600 km range with 30 kWh
The XBus comes with a 10 kWh battery as standard promising 200 km of range. A 30 kWh unit is offered as an option to target a range of 600 km. Values that seem optimistic, especially with the four passengers on board or the 1,000 kg of legal payload.
The utility is already available in the brand’s catalog and the configurator is also available. The base price for France is €17,526. At the very top of the range, the Camper version is priced at €29,728. Note that an all-terrain version is also available as an option at a price of €2,218. The optional battery requires an extension of €1,593.
