Manhart tackles the Audi RS 3 and offers it no less than 500 horsepower as well as a more aggressive look than ever, revised in depth.
If you are interested in the world of sports cars or preparation, you must have already heard of Manhart. Specialized in German cars, the Germanic tuner has already signed many achievements, whether on the basis of Porsche Cayenne, Audi RS Q8 or Bentley Urus. The firm is then distinguished by creations that are not really in lace, with aggressive looks and lines that do not go unnoticed. But this one is not satisfied with modifying the features of the cars which pass between its hands, since it also reworks their engine, in order to optimize the performances of these last.
And precisely, the new work of the German preparer is a good example of what he is able to offer his customers. This time it’s an RS 3, which changes its style in depth, but also its performance, obviously revised upwards. And this creation required many hours of work on the part of the company’s teams, who notably lowered the car by several millimeters, in order to give it an even sportier look, while improving its road holding. But that’s obviously not all.
100 horsepower more
Indeed, Manhart has also transformed the compact sedan, offering it a unique and not really all-purpose livery, with its black bodywork enhanced with golden elements. We then find them at the bottom of the doors, on the hood and around the grille and air intakes, as well as on the shield. 20-inch rims painted black complete the package. On the other hand, the preparer has not yet published photos of the interior, which should also benefit from some specific touches, and undoubtedly small improvements, in particular at the level of the seats.
If the five-cylinder 2.5 TFSI original equipping the production version of the Audi RS 3 is retained, it has still been modified by the German magicians. Indeed, its power of 400 horsepower has here been increased to 500 horses, thanks to the addition of the MHtronik Powerbox module. Unfortunately, the trainer does not reveal more details and does not speak of the 0 to 100 km / h, which the standard version achieves in just 3.8 seconds. There is no doubt that this variation is obviously faster to complete the exercise.
If pre-orders are already open for this preparation, Manhart has not yet revealed the prices. As a reminder, the current Audi RS 3 is displayed from €69,990, excluding the ecological malus, of course.
