The Swedish electric truck manufacturer, Volta Trucks, announces the arrival of Martin Hofmann as director of information systems and technology.

From next May, Martin Hofman will enter into Volta Trucks. Previously senior vice-president at Salesforce and director DSI at Volkswagen, he will take over the management of information systems and technology (DSIT) of the manufacturer of 100% electric trucks.
Within the Volkswagen group, the latter notably guided the group in its digital transition to the “cloud”. He has set up numerous software and technology development centers in Portugal, Spain, India and Silicon Valley. Missions that have enabled the group to obtain three American patents in applied quantum computing, including one in “mobility optimization“.

Creation of a digital ecosystem
As Director of Information Systems and Technology at Volta Trucks, his mission will be to oversee IT operations as well as the strategic vision of digital services dedicated to customers.
