Bentley Motors has just expanded its catalog with a Mulliner W12 version of the Continental GT, a model that will top the range of the latter by offering increased performance and comfort.
The Continental GT Mulliner first welcomes the chassis improvements inaugurated with the GT Speed model, and presents itself as the fastest, most dynamic and most luxurious Continental GT offered by the British manufacturer to date.
Externally, this Mulliner W12 model, which rests on a set of 22-inch rims with a unique design, is distinguished by its new “Double Diamond” matrix grille which bears Mulliner’s signature, and which is seen here complemented by air vents matching echoing the same silver and black design.
On the passenger compartment side, eight combinations of three colors have been selected by Mulliner to adorn the interior of the vehicle, in addition to a choice of 88 wood veneers and luxurious finishes such as the “Diamond in Diamond” quilting visible on the seats, the door trim and rear quarter panels of the vehicle.
Under the front bonnet of this Mulliner W12 model there is a 6.0-litre W12 block assembled by hand in the Crewe workshops, developing 659 hp and 900 Nm, to which is associated the active torque vectoring system (via eLSD). The set allows the Mulliner W12 to spin at 335 km / h at top speed, after having shot down the 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.6 seconds.
The Bentley Dynamic Ride (suspension) technology also present in the vehicle, will contribute to the efficiency of its evolutions on the road and the carbon-ceramic brakes, variable electronic stability control, all-wheel steering and electronic limited slip differential , will perfect its behavior in all conditions of use.
This new Bentley Continental GT Mulliner W12, which joins the Continental GT catalog in the “Azur” and “S” finishes, will be officially presented as part of the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.
