Zapping The Blogauto MG ZS EV test
As early as 1911, the Lancia brand adopted a logo other than its simple name. This logo is made up of a four-spoke steering wheel, decked out with a spear with Lancia branded on a flag. Blue is already the color of the logo. In 1929, a shield appeared in the background of the logo. The logo will evolve over the years while maintaining more or less the same appearance.
In 2007, Lancia threw away its history and simplified the logo. There is always the shield shape, the stylized steering wheel. And that’s all. No more pike, no more flag. Well Lancia is backtracking. Well almost. This new logo does not really find the steering wheel with four spokes, but a simple circle. The shield is always in the background and gives the overall shape of the logo.
On the other hand, the spear is only there in a symbolic way. Or else it exceeds damn. Indeed, no more final spades, only the handle remains. The flag is also ultra stylized and even the brand changes font for something less classic.
Our opinion, by leblogauto.com
On social networks, some do not hesitate to compare this new logo to the old one from Dacia. It’s rough. This logo has the merit of being more historically similar than its predecessor. But the minimalist side contrasts a bit with the elegance of a century-old logo.
Well, anyway, forget the big baroque Lancias, we should have Stellantis slightly “made up” to make you think of the brand. A bit like Opel for example.
to summarize
Lancia will finally be relaunched by Stellantis and offers a new logo for the occasion. Reinterpretation of the historic logo, this proposal is still very stylized and will not necessarily please everyone.
Place for the new range now.
