- New evolution of the Hybrid tire range for regional and large regional use
- Conti Hybrid HT3+ for trailer axle with 3PMSF marking for all-weather use, summer and winter
- Tire offering improved grip, exceptional mileage and maximum efficiency
In the Conti Hybrid range of tires dedicated to regional transport, the addition of a “+” symbol in the product name means more than just an aesthetic update. Offering further improved performance on winding and hilly roads with a high level of versatility on long hauls, these tires are designed to deliver consistently outstanding mileage and minimal fuel consumption on both regional roads and highways. The Conti Hybrid HS3+, launched in recent months, replaced the Conti Hybrid HS3 for the steering axle. Continental now offers the Conti Hybrid HT3+, dedicated to trailer axles.
Better grip, high mileage
Different from the proven Conti Hybrid HT3 it replaces, the new trailer tire for regional use has the 3PMSF (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake = 3 mountain peaks surrounding a snowflake) marking on the sidewall. This symbol attests to the suitability of the tire for use in winter conditions and therefore to its ability to be driven all year round and in all weathers. The specific design of the grooves and the “Pocket” sipes provide even better grip on wet and wintery roads; the design of the tread, meanwhile, ensures exceptional mileage. “The new Conti Hybrid HT3+ is the next logical step in heavy load transport says Mr. Kaiser, Product Development Manager for Buses and Truck Tires at Continental. ” The Hybrid range is renowned for its longevity in use and its exceptional energy efficiency. Fleet operators will thus be able to optimize their profitability by running their equipment 365 days a year thanks to the 3PMSF marking of the new Conti Hybrid HT3+ tyre. »
