It’s finally the return of the Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ), the real one, the big one! Jessia, revelation of the year at the last Juno awards gala, had the pleasure of kicking off this 54e long-awaited edition. The young Vancouver pop star was visibly thrilled to be on the Plains of Abraham stage on this beautiful, sunny and comfortable early evening.

All smiles and full of interpersonal skills, Jessia was completely at ease in front of the crowd, which quickly succumbed to her enthusiasm. She said she was surprised to find that the spectators were able to sing the words of her songs as well as those ofI’m With You by Avril Lavigne, of which she offered an interpretation that evening.
