Two stages from the end of this Monte-Carlo Rally, Sébastien Ogier took 2nd place behind Kalle Rovanperä who won his 5th special of this Monte-Carlo Rally. A beautiful morning for the Frenchman.
“Everything is going well, a lot of tire wear this morning so we are driving clean. We are trying to keep them to finish the rally as well as possible.”
Thierry Neuville finished 3rd in this 16th special. The Belgian still has difficulties with his Hyundai which slips a lot. He is now 21 seconds behind for 2nd place overall. The Frenchman, Pierre-Louis Loubet finished in a fine 5th place.
