Sébastien Ogier wins his 9th Monte-Carlo Rally, a record. He became the only one to achieve this feat ahead of Sébastien Loeb (8 wins). He takes the lead in the world championship even if he will not last the whole season. The best operation for the title, it was Kalle Rovanperä who achieved it, finishing 2nd behind the Frenchman. Toyota achieved an almost perfect rally by winning 16 stages out of 18. Thierry Neuville finished the 2023 Monte-Carlo Rally in 3rd position. Despite a weekend with ups and downs, he is doing well in the world championship. Sad weekend for Ford and Pierre-Louis Loubet who saw the problems accumulate throughout the weekend. A rally to forget for the young Frenchman who will want to catch up on Rally Sweden in a few weeks.
