Sébastien Ogier brings his total of victories to 9 specials. The Frenchman won the penultimate stage of this 2023 Monte-Carlo Rally. He was ahead of Takamoto Katsuta and Kalle Rovenperä. Before the last special, the Toyota driver increased his lead by 23 seconds in the general classification and came a little closer to the record of 9 victories in the Monte-Carlo Rally. The Belgian, Thierry Neuville, finished this special in 4th place. Pierre-Louis Loubet was supposed to start first in this special but the Frenchman was the victim of a technical problem, preventing him from taking the start.
