Kalle Rovanperä wins the Power Stage and earns 5 additional World Championship points. He finished 2nd in this Monte-Carlo Rally just behind Sébastien Ogier. The Frenchman managed his rally from start to finish without taking any risks and finished this special in 5th place. He won his 9th Monte-Carlo and became the only one to achieve such a performance. The Belgian, Thierry Neuville, finished just ahead in 4th place.
