A good conduct plan in 2021
Socotec has thus implemented its “good conduct plan” in 2021. It includes, for example, e-learning sessions accompanied by quizzes. Sessions offered to employees when taking control of their vehicle or to all staff on the eve of leaving on vacation, for example.
“We organize workshops for newcomers or young drivers, a category overrepresented in road accidents”, adds Yves Colliard. Also on the list of actions: drivers of company vehicles must sign and respect a charter of good conduct on the road. They must also follow an e-learning session on road safety. As a reminder, Socotec has 5,500 employees in France.
Socotec wants to strengthen road safety
On the occasion of the week of road safety at work this year, the company will strengthen its prevention action. She wants to emphasize the dangers of using the phone while driving and excessive speed. Pillars of the company’s road risk prevention policy, managers will set up events on these two themes. On the program: “the broadcast of the Road Safety film on the dangers of using the phone while driving as an introduction to discussions on the subject, the promotion of “driving mode” on the road, etc. “, details Yves Colliard.
Initiatives that reinforce the “good conduct plan”. The latter has also shown its effectiveness from the first year, “with a drop in the number of road accidents and road incidents in 2021”, indicates Yves Colliard. It should be noted that Socotec recently signed the “7 commitments for a safer road”.
