30A tax refund process that takes time
A partial refund of the domestic tax on the consumption of energy products (TICPE) is available to all companies involved in the transport of goods and passengers*. This tax refund system requires specific supporting documents: registration numbers, actual mileage, liters of diesel actually consumed per vehicle, and therefore a significant amount of preparation, processing and accounting verification time in companies. It is nothing less than compiling data on refueling at petrol stations, the mileage of each vehicle, and checking that the liters of diesel have indeed been consumed during the quarter…
” We have reorganized our development priorities so that our customers quickly benefit from an application that avoids a thankless administrative task in this particularly complicated period of soaring prices at the pump. They just have to launch the tool to retrieve a declaration file ready to be sent to the tax authorities », explains Julien Rousseau, CEO of SuiviDeFlotte.
A digital assistant to prepare TICPE administrative records
This new application is integrated into the global solution for managing truck fleets from SuiviDeFlotte.
The richness of the SuiviDeFlotte software lies in the fact of mixing telematics and fleet management. Thus, faced with all the data already known (vehicle characteristics, actual mileage, actual diesel consumption, history of fuel intakes, etc.), the publisher only had to develop a dedicated application for partial reimbursement of the TICPE.
It automates the preparation of information for the administrative file, and makes it possible to obtain a ready-to-use file, for immediate consideration by the State services, via the SideCarWeb customs platform.
This development, carried out as a priority by R&D, also required working on the integration of data from new oil partners so that all fuel transactions are properly recorded: (, Shell, AS24, DKV, Total Energies, E.Leclerc energies, etc.).
” Our software basically deals with fleet tracking and vehicle fleet management. He already has all the information required by the administration that processes the TICPE! The fleet manager entered the list of his vehicles at the beginning: data that we quickly enrich thanks to our connectors. Then, it is the telematics box on board each of the vehicles that automatically sends information (consumption in litres, vehicle odometer, etc.). And finally, the fleet management part of our software aggregates all fuel transactions. These automations are used for a whole series of optimizations, and also today for the quarterly declaration of the TICPE”explains Julien Rousseau, CEO of SuiviDeFlotte
Reassuring for its cash flow to know that the file will be generated instantly without human intervention, that it will be complete, and can be processed without difficulty by the administration.
*A road freight transport or public passenger transport company can benefit from a partial refund of the domestic tax on the consumption of energy products (TICPE). She has to ask for it. The reimbursement is calculated on the basis of its actual diesel consumption during a quarter.
