Coming out of nowhere, the new Hiperon brand presents the Carrier, a unique electric utility vehicle in the style of a concept car.
The vast majority of electric vehicle manufacturers are rushing into the SUV and sedan segments, with products that try to mimic Tesla’s trajectory as best as possible. Except Hiperon, which has chosen to unveil an electric utility vehicle that knows how to combine style with function.
The Hiperon Carrier adopts the codes usually reserved for the world of concept cars. He also wants to redefine habits in this segment, where utilities do not really seek to be elegant, with smooth and refined surfaces. But it is clear that he is not inventing a new movement since he is furiously approaching the Porsche Vision Renndienst Concept, long kept out of the light of day by Zuffenheusen.
Marketing in Europe planned in the program
With a length of 5.66 m and 2.01 m high, the Hiperon electric utility is between a Ford e-Transit and a Mercedes Sprinter. The loading volume has not been communicated, but it can receive up to 995 kg of payload. The set is powered by a 269 hp electric motor and a 75 kWh battery, which promises 320 km of autonomy.
Reservations will open at the end of the year, but no release date has been announced. However, marketing of the entire range is planned for Europe with passenger transport and chassis-cab versions.
