While the grass season is coming to an end with the Newport tournament, the Bastad tournament will bring clay back into fashion as soon as Wimbledon is over.
Clay returns to center stage in Bastad, with Casper Ruud intent on defending his title after his quickly completed run at Wimbledon. Absent from the London tournament, Andrey Rublev will also return to competition in Sweden. On the French side, Hugo Gaston and Arthur Rinderknech made the trip.
