Do you dream of a Ferrari Enzo? Then this unique copy offered at auction should please you. In addition, it is sold without reserve.
If you are asked to name an iconic Ferrari, which do you think of? To tell the truth, it is not so obvious as that, because of the mythical models, the firm with the prancing horse has produced plenty, between the Dino, the Testarossa or the F40 to speak only of them. Without forgetting of course the essential Enzo, named in tribute to the brand’s founder, Enzo Ferrari, who died in 1988. An exceptional sports car, today much sought after by collectors around the world, even though only 400 copies products around the world. A real rarity then.
Suffice to say that it is not common to come across one on the road, or even to see one pass by at an auction. However, we remember the one offered last February by Artcurial at the Retromobile show, which was sold for the modest sum of €2,846,000. Just that. But if you have unfortunately missed your chance, know that another copy of the legendary Italian sports car is currently offered to collectors, this time by another prestigious house, which is none other than RM Sotheby’s.
A single model
You should know that the car available for sale is not just any Ferrari Enzo. And for good reason, this is the only one to have been painted in white throughout the world. A real one-off, dressed in the “Blanco Avus” shade, which should be a great success with enthusiasts. Registered for the very first time in Germany, the supercar was certified in 2012 by the Ferrari Classiche department. With just under 10,000 kilometers on the odometer, the sports car is in excellent condition, both inside and out. Note that it has just come out of revision, and that it is currently located in Hong Kong.
Already exclusive by its color, this Ferrari Enzo is also by its many options, including in particular carbon fiber monocoque seats or a digital dashboard. The driving position is accustomed to leather and black and red fabric. Under its hood, the supercar has a 6.0-liter V12 developing no less than 651 horsepower, unsurprisingly in excellent working order as well. No repairs are therefore to be expected on this unique example, which was to attract the covetousness of collectors.
If the sports car is sold without a reserve price, there is no doubt that the auction should quickly rise, to undoubtedly exceed the symbolic bar of one million euros. The sale will take place on June 29, and will only last 24 hours.
