It is the first time in France that influencers are affected by a complaint to “ organized gang scam “. The group of Aid to Victims of Influencers (AVI) points the finger at the more than dubious practices of Marc Blata and his partner Nadé and the Animoon platform.
The AVI Collective files a complaint against influencers
This is a small victory for the AVI Collective. For several months, volunteers have joined together very regularly on social networks to “ to sort » the new complaints and discuss potential follow-up to all this. Between the summer of 2022 and today, the collective has also changed name to move from AVNM (Assistance to the victims of Marc and Nadé) to AVI. The association no longer just wants to attack the Blata couple, but more generally influencers who decide to gamble with their subscribers’ money.

This Monday, January 23, the Collectif AVI will therefore speak in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, alongside the firm Ziegler & Associés, a law firm specializing in banking law and computer and digital law. During this conference, the members of the collective must announce that they will file two complaints : the first targets the Blata couple for organized fraud and the second is a complaint against X, targeting the Animoon platform, for the same reason.
From Dubai, Marc and Nadé Blata offered their subscribers trading plans on Telegram. They are accused of having voluntarily directed many people to bad plans. Despite the distance from Dubai, the AVI Collective wants to “ stop all this and recognize the many victims who must have counted for some of the heavy losses “. By filing a complaint and making as much noise as possible, the collective wants educate young people and do everything to make these practices illegal.
According to the AVI Collective, the French victims are more and more numerous. The credibility of reality TV influencers is a “ pledge of security for French users. A testimony collected by the collective demonstrates this: “ Marc Blata is certified on Instagram. He has a lot of followers. I saw it on Cyril Hanouna’s show. It gives some credibility. He was convincing and reassuring about this product “.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance wishes regulate the practices of influencers. In December 2022, Bruno Le Maire announced the launch of a public consultation to create a code of good conduct for influencers. The objective is ” oversee all practices related to the promotion and placement of products by influencers on social networks “.
