Unsurprisingly, Victor Wembanyama will be present at the LNB All-Star Game this year, on December 29 at the Accor Arena. The Frenchman was chosen by the public, like Mike James for the World selection.
As a matter of course, Victor Wembanyama will be present in the France selection at the next All-Star Game. Indeed, just under a month before the event, which will take place on December 29 at the Accor Arena, the composition of the teams was announced this Wednesday by the National Basketball League (LNB). Chosen by public vote, “Wemby” and Mike James will (normally) be the leaders of the two selections (France and World). Currently leading three categories (top scorer, rebounder and blocker) in Betclic Elite after ten games, the possible next number one in the 2023 NBA draft will logically be one of the attractions of this end-of-year meeting.
Big uncertainty for James and Okobo
Above all, in addition to the flagship match, Wembanyama will also participate in the three-point shooting contest, with Nando De Colo, Keith Hornsby and Nicolas Lang. Although selected, Monegasques James and Elie Okobo may not be there on December 29, because the Roca Team will play the same evening at home against Zalgiris Kaunas, during the 16th day of Euroleague. Finally, the leaders’ competition will pit him against Milan Barbitch, Justin Bibbins (defending champion), TJ Campbell, Nadir Hifi, while the participants in the dunks competition will be known later.
